Guide to Sightseeing Spots in the Area
Located along the Dojima River in the heart of Osaka’s historic city center. To the east is Nakanoshima Park with its lush greenery, and to the south is Yodoyabashi, one of Osaka’s most prestigious office districts. To the north is Kita-shinchi, Osaka’s most popular social district.
Furthermore, it is very convenient to go sightseeing and leisure spots in Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, and other parts of the Kansai region.
The Kita-shinchi and Nakanoshima area where the hotel is located was lined with warehouses during the Edo period, and Nakanoshima and Semba, where wealthy merchants set up store, still have many buildings and retro buildings constructed from the Edo, Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods.
If you are a first-time visitor to Osaka and wondering where to go sightseeing, or if you want to know more about Osaka’s history, or about the best spots for sightseeing, the guides of the Osaka Tourist Volunteer Guide Association will listen to your wishes and guide you through the area.
